M.Ed. Faculty
Find out more about the ACE Faculty
Each year ACE teachers comment about three levels of extremely important support during their first years of teaching: the local principal, the local mentor teacher, and M.Ed. faculty members.
Principals provide ongoing formative and summative evaluations of the ACE teacher’s teaching, community, and spiritual formation.
Mentor Teachers serve a non-evaluative role by helping ACE teachers orient to their new city and school, conferencing with them about instructional and curricular goals on a regular basis, and reflecting with the ACE teacher about successes and struggles in and out of the classroom.
ACE M.Ed. Faculty engage the ACE teachers throughout the summer and school year in courses founded in research and best practices that allow immediate application of principles, strategies, and methods into the classroom.
Please note: If you are a principal or mentor and have questions about the above forms or your other ACE responsibilities, please email the ACE TA at aceta@nd.edu .
