Prospective Applicants
Dear Friend of Catholic Education,
Thank you for your interest in the Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE). Since 1993, nearly 1000 ACE teachers have given two years or more of service to one of the American Catholic Church’s most precious treasures – Catholic schools. These bright, faith-filled, and enthusiastic teachers, some of the most promising leaders in today’s American Church, energize the school and parish communities where they serve.
Many of them, however, began their journey perhaps like you – curious, but unsure about this opportunity. We invite you to take some time and look through the resources on this website to learn more about the foundation of the program, the three Pillars: Teaching, Community, and Spirituality.
As you look through this site, we realize that it might spark many more questions about the program and the ACE experience. We value highly the personal contact with each prospective ACEr and encourage you to either stop by our office in Badin Hall on campus at Notre Dame, email us at ace@nd.edu, or call any of our staff members at (574) 631-7052. To receive additional information about ACE and important upcoming dates, fill out a request for information HERE.
We look forward to supporting you throughout the entire discernment process and once again, thank you for showing interest in ACE and more importantly in changing the lives of children through Catholic education.
Sincerely,
John Staud
