Notre Dame ACE Academies Tucson

The Notre Dame ACE Academies are a comprehensive university-school partnership,  providing a Catholic education of the highest quality to as many children as possible.  Partner schools are established in regional groups to enable them to share resources, collaborate, and build community, helping every student in each school stay on the path to college and heaven.  

In 2010, Most Rev. Gerald Kicanas. bishop of the Diocese of Tucson, invited the University of Notre Dame to designate St. John the Evangelist, Santa Cruz, and St. Ambrose Catholic schools the first cluster of NDAA partner schools in the nation. Thanks to the incredible support of Bishop Kicanas and superintendent Sr. Rosa Maria Ruiz, and the commitment and relentless dedication of the principals, teachers, and staff of the schools, kids in Tucson’s south side are getting an excellent, college-bound primary education.
