Boston Advocates for Catholic Education ("BACE") is a diverse group of educators, young professionals and friends of Catholic education who believe in the incredible gift of an education rooted in the Gospel and service to others. We strive to promote Catholic education in the Archdiocese of Boston by re-engaging Boston's strong Catholic community, supporting public policy initiatives beneficial to Catholic schools and assisting Catholic schools through direct service, financial resources and prayer. BACE is a chapter of the University of Notre Dame's ACE Advocates for Catholic Schools. Our Trivia Night will be on Saturday, May 18th at Hibernian Hall. The address is: 151 Watertown St., Watertown, MA 02472. Support the BACE Scholarship Fund while having fun playing trivia with friends! Suggested donation at the door is $10. Pizza, beverages, and baked goods will be available for purchase. This event is for adults only (21+). Doors open at 6:30; trivia starts at 7. Come early to check out raffle and silent auction items! Maximum of 8 people per trivia team. Come with a team or join one upon arrival! All proceeds will go to the BACE Scholarship Fund through the Catholic Schools Foundation, which provides tuition assistance to a student at Sacred Heart School. Please click here to RSVP by Wednesday, May 15th. Our June Mass and dinner will be on Saturday, June 1st. Mass will be at 4:00 PM at Boston College's School of Theology and Ministry chapel. The address is: 9 Lake Street, Brighton, MA 02135. There is free parking and no charge for the event. This group is open to all advocates for Catholic schools, so feel free to invite others! These events are family friendly, so the more the merrier! *This event will also be a send-off for our dear friend and member of the BACE Leadership Team, Caitlin Keeton. Many thanks to Caitlin for her years of service in Boston Catholic schools and BACE. Please feel free to bring a card to wish her well on her move to Maryland.
