Differentiated Instruction
ACE Professional Development’s workshops for differentiated instruction provide the knowledge and tools to establish communities of educators who collaborate to design instruction that meets and assesses the needs, capacities and skills of their unique students and school environments. Through the workshops, participants will develop the skills to respond to individual and group exceptionalities through instructional variance and scaffolded planning. Additionally, an assessment model for student success will provide teachers with the tools to make data-based decisions. The resulting instruction will address core academic standards while engaging students more fully in classroom activities by connecting content with their existing knowledge. The program will stress that all students have learning differences and teachers will find programs of challenge and support, through the sessions, in order to respond to individual needs and challenges.
