Financial Management for School Principals

The ACE Professional Development workshop in the Financial Management for School Principals provides the tools for school leadership to build a fiscally sound mission driven, data informed budget. Fiscal stewardship will be foundational and the animus for the workshop, which will include getting the most out of any government funding for which the school may be entitled.  Principals will indentify the culture of their school community and the critical importance of building a budget in a collaborative fashion. Each principal will identify the data/research necessary for the development of their particular school’s budget and its alignment with its school’s mission statement. Lastly the importance of a strategic plan will be discussed with an emphasis on strategic thinking.
