The Convent of the Sacred Heart 91st Street, located on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, seeks a Middle School Head to act as educational and administrative leader of its Middle School.
Candidates should have a minimum of 5-7 years teaching and administrative experience, preferably in an independent school, and at the Middle School or higher level. A Masters degree is required; an EdD or PhD is preferred. They should also have superb interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and inspire a skilled faculty and administrative staff. A strong spiritual grounding and enthusiasm for teaching and leading an academic team and student body are a must.
