Position Available: Director of High School

Founded in 1907, Forest Ridge School of the Sacred Heart is a Catholic, all-girls, independent, college-preparatory school serving students grades 5 through 12. Position Description:
The Director of High School provides leadership for the High School faculty and students and oversees the daily operations and programs of the division, reporting directly to the Head of School. Additional responsibilities include faculty hiring, development, and evaluation; supervising educational support personnel; working with faculty and staff in developing and sustaining an education program that is consistent with the school’s mission; being responsive to parents’ concerns as well as performing other duties as necessary.
As part of the Senior Administration team, the Director will participate in school-wide management, strategic planning, policy planning, budgeting, and supporting and promoting the Sacred Heart mission of the school.

Qualifications:
The Director of High School preferably will have significant experience in High School teaching, pedagogy, and administration. The candidate will have completed an advanced degree in a relevant field and demonstrated a track record of building meaningful and responsive relationships with key school constituencies of students, faculty, staff, parents, and alumnae.
