The Guadalupe Regional Middle School, a tuition-free Catholic middle school located on the Mexican border in Brownsville, Texas seeks a Principal for the ’08-’09 school year. This academically challenging school belongs to the Nativity/Miguel Network. Its mission is to teach its students how to live the gospel values of love, justice, and self-discipline with the goal of becoming future leaders of the civic and church community.
The Principal serves as chief operating officer, accountable to the President. She/He is directly responsible for the religious and educational programs of the school and provides leadership to the faculty, students, and parents – coordinating all academic and activity areas and ensuring the good behavior of ninety students. A candidate should be a practicing Catholic, have a master’s degree in education, and teaching experience at the middle and/or secondary level.
