Don Bosco Cristo Rey - Teaching Positions - Washington DC
Don Bosco Cristo Rey is the newest Catholic, co-educational high school serving the greater Washington area. The Cristo Rey school model was founded in Chicago in 1996 in order to make an excellent, college-preparatory education available to those who could not afford it. The Cristo Rey network has grown to include 19 schools across the U.S. providing vital “real-world” experience through its unique corporate work study program. Don Bosco Cristo Rey, co-sponsored by the Salesians of Don Bosco and the Archdiocese of Washington, opened in August 2007 with its first class of ninth graders. The 2008-2009 school year will be the second year of operation. (For more information: www.cristoreynetwork.org OR www.donboscocristorey.org)
