About the PEA
The Program for K-12 Educational Access (PEA) is a multi-disciplinary, collaborative enterprise dedicated to empowering low-income families with access to a quality education, with a particular focus on parochial schools. Informed by Catholic social teaching, it advances educational access through teaching, research, and outreach. Animated by an appreciation of parents/guardians as the primary educators of their children and of the unique role that faith-based education has played in nurturing the soul of our nation, the PEA seeks to cultivate data-driven, parent-centered education reform.
The Program’s plan for meeting its goals and fulfilling its mission is grounded in its four core strategic domains:
Facilitating Dialogue
Leadership Formation
Direct Professional Services
Scholarship
