Degree and Certificate Programs
Rev. Timothy R. Scully, C.S.C., and Rev. Sean McGraw, C.S.C., co-founded the Alliance for Catholic Education in 1993 to help meet the need for talented, well-trained young people to teach in Catholic Schools. The goal was to sustain and strengthen Catholic education, especially in under-resourced school, by forming a next generation of committed, faith-filled Catholic school teachers.
Beginning with 40 teachers in five southern states, ACE has expanded to become a truly national program. Spanning 18 years, ACE Service through Teaching has commissioned 1,200 teachers to serve Catholic schools throughout the United States. It has also been the springboard for three additional programs.
ACE's Degree and Certificate Programs include:
- ACE Service through Teaching
- Mary Ann Remick Leadership Program
- English as a New Language Certification
- Teaching Exception Children Certification
