What is your favorite ACE tradition, and why?Bowling Night! It's the first formal event where the new ACErs and second year ACErs get to hang out in the same area at the same times. You can bowl seriously if you really want to or you can just move around from lane to lane, meeting people, enjoying a drink together or catching up.

What is your favorite Community story? My favorite community story is Denver's Spring Community Event. Most communities would choose to do an arts and crafts activity or an outdoor event or something of the like. Denver, always marching to the beat of a different drummer, decided to participate in earwax candles. For those of you who don't know, earwax candles are long candle-like devices which you insert into your ear. By burning the other end, excess earwax is pulled from your ear. Disgusting. Scary. Hilarious. This event epitomizes my community's personality.

How has ACE shaped your spiritual life?My spiritual life has really grown this year. ACE has helped me discover what it means to be both a believing and practicing Catholic. Through community prayer, ACE summer masses, and helping my students prepare for the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion, I have strengthened and defined my prayer life and discovered what it means to truly believe and live out my faith.
