Once ACE teachers graduate from the University of Notre Dame with their Master of Education degree, they are eligible for certification in the State of Indiana in their particular developmental level and content area. Indiana is a member of the Interstate Teaching Compact, an alliance of more than 40 state departments of education, which allows reciprocity for teacher licensure. This means that ACE graduates certified in Indiana may be conditionally permitted to teach in more than 40 other states.
