What is unique about your community?

We have two graduates from Notre Dame and two from St. Louis University. We are the first ever ACE teachers to serve in one of the newest ACE sites, Sacramento. We are known as, “SAC TOWN”. We are all from the Midwest and enjoy outdoor, athletic activities. We have three orange trees in our backyard, which should be ripe for picking near December Retreat.

Brief description of Sacramento:

Sacramento is located in Northern California and is the capital of the state. It is one of the sunniest cities in the United States. Home of the Kings, Govenator, and River Rats baseball. Located an hour and a half from San Francisco, Napa Valley and two hours from Lake Tahoe. The population is diverse, leaving endless options of food choices.

What do you like most about Sacramento?

The city is the Midwest of California in terms of friendliness. The location is unbeatable being so close to the mountains, ocean, wine country and the Red Woods. The weather is awesome- best of all ACE communities!
