ACE teachers are placed in over 100 schools, spread throughout 15 states, primarily in the southern part of the U.S. Participants live in community in one of 31 ACE houses in 26 dioceses.
Teaching assignments are based on applicant qualifications and school needs. Participants can only be placed in a position in which they are eligible for licensure at the end of their two-year commitment. Schools make requests for specific teaching positions to be filled. The ACE staff then matches qualified applicants with school requests while maintaining gender balance within the ACE communities.

ACE is proud to participate in the year long conversation on K-12 education. Learn more at forum.nd.edu
