ACE Advocates Emerging School Leaders Program

Description of the program:

During this two-year program, each participant will serve as the teacher of record in a K-8 urban Catholic school in the Archdiocese of Chicago.  Alongside this classroom work, each will be assigned an additional administrative internship.  Examples of internships may include work in marketing and enrollment, school finance, technology, or coordination of service learning programs or athletics, among others.  Emerging School Leaders will also participate in a professional formation program focused on developing vital skills in school leadership.  This formation experience will seek to prepare participants who continue to have the interest for subsequent enrollment in existing graduate programs to prepare accredited school leaders.  In addition to the standard teacher’s salary, each participant will receive an additional $2500 annual stipend during the two years of the program.
