What do you hope to do/accomplish as an ACE Teacher?
I hope to respond in whatever ways to which God calls me in the little moments of teaching -- so that my students know that they are loved and that there is a wonderful world out there, created by a wonderful Father, for them to explore!
What experiences at your undergraduate institution helped shape your decision to pursue teaching as a possible vocation?
The Program of Liberal Studies community has been one of the most formative experiences of my time at ND. I've been blessed by a close-knit body of students and professors who are constantly pushing each other not only to learn, but to love to learn, to ask hard questions, and to be better people holistically. I want to spend the rest of my life striving to create that kind of environment, and teaching through ACE seems like a natural step on that path!
How do you hope to grow in your experience as an ACE Ambassador/Intern?
I hope to grow in my capacity to serve and to see, understand, and meet others' needs.

I am a senior intern with the McGrath Institute for Church Life, a Tocqueville Fellow for Inquiry into Religion and Public Life, and an Arts and Letters Dean's Fellow. When I'm not busy with school or work, I can be found making tea and chatting with friends!
