What do you hope to do/accomplish as an ACE Teacher?
As an ACE teacher, I hope to reveal the love of Christ to each one of my students, co-workers, and community members. I will strive to make sure that each person I encounter, most especially my students, will feel known, loved, and cared for both inside and outside the classroom.
What experiences at your undergraduate institution helped shape your decision to pursue teaching as a possible vocation?
Many experiences come to mind when shaping my decision to pursue teaching, but the overall theme found in each experience is the desire to bring greater glory to God and to serve others. Whether in the classroom, in my fraternity, or at the Catholic Studies Centre, the common mission of bringing greater glory to God has been the foundation of my vocation to become a teacher and strong advocate for Catholic education.
How do you hope to grow in your experience as an ACE Ambassador/Intern?
I hope to grow in many ways, but most specifically in my relationship with God and relationships with others. The aspect of community found within ACE has been remarkable so far, and I am eager to build more relationships centered on Christ.
