What do you hope to do/accomplish as an ACE Teacher?
My platform as an ACE teacher grants me a tremendous opportunity and responsibility: to help students recognize their dignity, talents, potential, and the common good. With this in mind, I hope to develop dynamic teaching methods so to connect with students' diverse personalities and learning styles. I also hope I'll have a personal and unique relationship with each of my students.
What experiences at your undergraduate institution helped shape your decision to pursue teaching as a possible vocation?
A few peers I've tutored at Notre Dame have encouraged me to pursue teaching. Volunteering on behalf of ND's College Mentors for Kids chapter has also stoked my desire to teach.
How do you hope to grow in your experience as an ACE Ambassador/Intern?
The ACE internship will enable me to grow in all areas, particularly through the mentorship and example of the ACE team. I specifically look forward to growing in camaraderie with the other ACE interns, my faith, and my professional skills.
