Where We Serve: New York
The Archdiocese of New York along with the Partnership Schools invited the Alliance for Catholic Education to serve the Catholic school communities of Harlem and the South Bronx in 2016. Four teachers from ACE 23 are the first to serve in the five boroughs, while several graduates from ACE Teaching Fellows and the Mary Ann Remick Leadership program serve in Catholic schools around the city.
"I said yes to ACE because education is the biggest social justice issue of our generation and I felt called by the Spirit to lead the change. Learning and serving through ACE helps Catholic schools provide a quality education in urban and rural settings."

"Community life serves as one of the three pillars of ACE and I believe that the support that an ACE member receives from his/her community reflects the mission we have all accepted to serve those in need and spread the love of Christ to the larger communities we are teaching in."

"As a proud graduate of a Catholic elementary school, I know how impactful a faith-centered classroom lead by Christ-like teachers can be on students’ academic and spiritual growth. I said “yes” to serving children in Catholic schools through ACE because I aspire to use my passion of integrating faith and learning to guide members of the young Church in their journey towards college and heaven, just like my teachers did for me!
