Amanda Hamilton, M.Ed.

Clinical Faculty, English as a New Language

Amanda Hamilton is a Language Acquisition teacher for DC Public Schools, with a focus on grades 3-5. She earned her bachelor’s degrees in English and Religion from Florida State University. She later earned her M.Ed. through the ACE Teaching Fellows program in 2016, and most recently, her ENL certification from the University of Notre Dame. She previously taught 5th grade in Catholic schools in Florida and Maryland for five years, and is honored to be part of the ACE family. Amanda is passionate about supporting equity in education, and thrilled to return for another ENL summer as clinical faculty. She enjoys triathlons and spending time with her niece and nephew.
