Faculty, English as a New Language Program
Dr. Brandy J. Ellison is a faculty member of the English as a New Language (ENL) program. She teaches the course entitled Cultural Influences in the Lives of Children for the English as a New Language program. As a Ph.D. student in sociology at the University of Notre Dame, Brandy received the Outstanding Graduate Student Award for Excellence in Teaching. In addition to her work with ENL, she currently serves as the research coordinator for ACE Consulting and has worked at Notre Dame’s Center for Research in Educational Opportunity. Brandy’s research on Catholic schools has been published in Catholic Education: A Journal of Inquiry and Practice.
