Chris Lary Awards

  • Open to schools of ACE Teachers and first-year Remick Leaders, two to three awards are given annually to ACE schools for specific projects proposed in an open competition judged by a committee of Chris’ friends and family in conjunction with the ACE staff. Award amounts range from $500 to $2000.

Conference Presentation Grants

  • ACE teachers who wish to present at state, regional or national education conferences may apply for grants not exceeding $800. 

Teacher Observation for Professional Development

  • Upon the approval of the Principal and University Supervisor, ACE will support the release-time expense of up to one half day for a substitute teacher for first-year ACE teachers to observe the classroom of an experienced and highly effective colleague.

Licensing Requirements

  • ACE will reimburse any ACE teacher the additional costs incurred in meeting the requirements for a license necessary to fulfill ACE teaching responsibilities, not covered by the host dioceses.

College Football Playoff Foundation Grant

  • Awards for up to $2500 may be submitted by ACE teachers working in under resourced schools in order to fund needed education materials or opportunities for students.
