Amy teaches English as a New Language at Scecina Memorial High School in Indianapolis, IN. She earned her undergraduate degree at Butler University in Spanish and Journalism and received her Master's degree from Purdue University in Curriculum & Instruction with a focus on English Language Learners. She has taught for 23 years, the first 18 in Spanish. She completed her ENL licensure through the University of Notre Dame in 2019-2020. In whatever free time she may magically find, she loves to read, hang out with her teenagers and husband, and hike with her dog, Scout.
