Caitlin grew up in Connecticut and attended Boston College, where she studied Applied Psychology and Human Development. Throughout college, Caitlin volunteered in Boston Public Schools where she developed a passion for working with multilingual learners. She participated in the ACE Teaching Fellows Program through the University of Notre Dame, where she earned her M.Ed., while teaching 4th grade for two years in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of ENL 16. She is currently a middle school EL teacher in Whitehall City Schools and lives in Columbus, Ohio. She is passionate about teaching and welcoming students in the earliest stages of language acquisition.
