We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary Teacher for the 24-25 school year to join our team, providing a high-quality education that fosters academic excellence, spiritual growth, and character development.
Job Summary:
As a member of the elementary team, the teacher is responsible for a self-contained classroom with the ability to instruct in all subject areas including religion, and plan and deliver engaging and differentiated instruction to students. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues to integrate Catholic values into the curriculum and create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to excel academically and grow in their faith.
Responsibilities:
Support and uphold the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school.
Act as a witness to the Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Plan and deliver standards-based instruction that meets the needs of diverse learners.
Differentiate instruction to support students with varying abilities and learning styles.
Use a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technology to engage students in learning.
Assess student progress and provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Catholic values and principles into the math curriculum.
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters academic growth and spiritual development.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and achievements.
Participate in professional development opportunities and collaborate with colleagues to improve instructional practices.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a related field.
Valid elementary teaching certification in the state of Texas.
Experience teaching at the elementary level (experience in a Catholic school preferred).
Strong knowledge of elementary content, pedagogy, and instructional strategies.
Ability to differentiate instruction and meet the needs of diverse learners.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
