Northside Catholic Academy is transitioning to a classical model of education and is seeking a part-time to full-time 6th grade Humanities teacher (Reading, ELA and History). Curriculum is focused on the Ancient World. Thirteen - fifteen classes and 3-5 prep periods per week; position could be made full-time with additional administrative duties if desired. Northside Catholic Academy is a PreK-8 school located in Chicago's diverse Edgewater community; the school serves 4 parishes and an international community with 24 languages spoken in our students' homes. We are a traditional Big Shoulders school, and a Title 1 school, with abundant resources and incredibly supportive and engaged parents.
