Duration: Staff- 10-month schedule/follows Faculty calendar, early August – early June

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Schedule: Monday - Friday (plus scheduled events)

Hours: Full-time 7:50 am – 3:20 pm

Reporting to: Director of Enrollment Management

Job Purpose: The admissions coordinator supports the admissions director and director of enrollment for the entire recruiting and admissions process.

Faith, Community, and Dominican Charism

· Ensure that the four pillars of a Dominican education (prayer, study, community, preaching) are developed and promoted among the school community.

· Develop an active faith community and model Christian values.

· Support prayer and spiritual formation within the student, faculty/staff, and parent communities.

· Uphold and implement the Dominican charism and the Houston Dominican Sisters’ congregational goals.

· Demonstrate a commitment to equity and inclusion by honoring the dignity of each member of the St. Agnes Academy community.

Main Responsibilities:

· Assist potential students and their families throughout the admission process.

· Respond to inquiries, questions, and complaints regarding admissions.

· Lead school tours for interested parties as needed

· Assist Director of Admissions with the feeder school visit program

· Assist the Director of Admissions with Student Ambassador program

· Help organize and promote the annual Open House

· Attend local high school recruiting events as needed

· Assist with administration of the entrance exam

· Assemble files for review by inputting applicant information into database

· Participate in the admissions decision-making process

· Assist in creating reports as needed for enrollment management

· Organize and execute all student shadow visits

· Assist with Placement Test Make up Exams

Qualifications:

• Commitment to embracing the mission at St. Agnes Academy

• Bachelor’s degree

• Experience in admission at a college or high school

• Maintain confidentiality in all school matters

• Experience in data base management

• Strong communication skills with internal and external contacts

• Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Microsoft office)

• Local travel may be necessary to represent SAA at school or parish events

• Professional attitude and appearance

• Completion of Safe Haven training
