JOB SUMMARY
The IMADE (Innovation, Manufacturing, Art, Design, and Engineering) Center at Kennedy Catholic High School is a hub for creativity, design, and innovation, empowering students to think critically and solve problems through hands-on, project-based learning. Kennedy Catholic is seeking a dynamic and self-directed educator to lead the IMADE Center, teach 3D Design, and guide students in making meaningful connections between ideation, design, and real-world application. Key responsibilities include instruction and curriculum development, maker space management, innovation and program development, and mentorship for student engagement.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Experience, & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Design, Engineering, Industrial Arts)
• WA State Teaching Certificate or the ability to obtain one
• Master’s degree preferred
• Familiarity with educational technology
• Recent classroom experience, preferably in a high school setting
• Proficiency in 3D design software and familiarity with fabrication tools

• Effectively utilize educational technology to enhance the learning of students

• Be organized and an effective communicator with all members of the school community

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
• Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications. Salary is dependent upon experience, certification, and education according to Kennedy Catholic’s faculty compensation schedule. For the 2025-2026 school year, a teacher’s salary ranges between $55,962 and $106,217.
