The ideal candidate for this position is a practicing Catholic who is passionate about their faith, has strong leadership skills and is committed to creating a positive school environment where students can deepen their relationship with God. The Assistant Principal needs to be able to build rapport with students, faculty, parents, and community members to further advance the mission of St. Michael CHS.
The duties for this position include:
Overseeing and maintaining a safe and respectful school environment
* Implementing and evaluating the school safety plan
*Managing student discipline and attendance* Maintaining appropriate school records
Implementing policies and procedures in accordance with the St. Michael Student Handbook and policy
manuals
* Working closely with other members of the administrative team to evaluate, develop, and revise school
policies and procedures
* Maintaining a visible presence on campus during both the school day and at after school events
* Supporting the mission and vision of St. Michael Catholic High School
* Fulfilling other duties as assigned, including possible teaching duties
Candidates for this position must have an earned Master's degree in Educational Leadership or closely related
field, be a practicing Catholic, and ideally have 3 – 5 years experience in school administration.
St. Michael Catholic High School is located in Fairhope, AL in Baldwin County. This area is one of the fastest
