Magis Catholic Teacher Corps is a two-year Catholic school teacher formation program where participants teach full-time in a Catholic school, earn a fully-funded master's degree, live in intentional community, and participate in faith formation in the Ignatian/Jesuit tradition. The Associate Director for Magis Catholic Teacher Corps at Creighton University collaborates with the program director to manage recruitment, marketing, and communication efforts, while supporting teacher certification and departmental activities. The role includes shared supervision and field responsibilities, focusing on summer programming, teacher formation, community living, and faith formation. Key qualifications include knowledge of Ignatian spirituality, social justice, and school leadership, with a preference for candidates with teaching licensure and proficiency in communication and organizational tools. The individual must embody empathy, encouragement, and empowerment for Magis students in their formation journey.
