Job Description:
Classroom Aides are an important part of St. Stephen School, job description below includes duties and responsibilities.
1. Familiarize oneself with the Mission Statement, policies and procedures of the school.
2. Work as a team member under the supeNision and guidance of the classroom teacher.
3. Develop and maintain a positive relationship with the children.
4. Work with small groups to reinforce learning.
5. Guide enrichment and remedia! work.
6. Assist the teacher with instructional and non-instructional classroom recess duties.
7. Assist students with make-up work
8. Assist small groups in the library or computer lab.
9. Accompany and supervise students on trips to the library, computer lab, recess, bathrooms, and other activities.
1O. Assist in preparation of class materials including making copies and having lesson supplies ready for instruction.
11. Perform yard supervision duties as scheduled, if a replacement is needed please coordinate with office staff.

Scale Range $21 - $26 per hour
