St. Mary Catholic Central High School seeks an energetic, engaging, creative, organized, and detail-oriented person to fill the role of its Director of Admissions.
The Director of Admissions is a full-time position. The successful candidate will be a part of the SMCC Advancement Team. S/he will report to the School President. S/he is responsible for the ongoing development and execution of the School’s Comprehensive Enrollment Plan. This plan is expected to be a data-informed action plan that enacts strategies and policies focusing on attracting and retaining a diverse student body composed of mission-appropriate students who meet the School’s enrollment goals.
The successful candidate will possess exceptional writing, grammatical, and verbal communication skills. S/he must be comfortable sharing the School’s stories and brand in writing, one-on-one conversation, and public gatherings. S/he must possess excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. S/he must be professional, collaborative, courteous, and strongly inclined toward customer service. S/he will be required to work with all levels of staff, faculty, and parents, handling confidential and time-sensitive information.
Formal education and prior work experience in recruitment, sales, or other applicable fields are strongly preferred. Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite are required. Experience with Blackbaud’s Enrollment Management Software platform is preferred. Bilingual and fluent in Spanish, a plus.
Candidates must be supportive of the mission of SMCC and the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.
The position is a full-time, 12-month contract. Salary and benefits are commensurate with experience.
