Partnership Schools is looking for a Director of School Operations. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, organized, has a passion for education reform, and is ready to dive into a fast paced, exciting entrepreneurial work environment. The Director of School Operations leads the school’s implementation and maintenance of clear operational systems that allow the principal and teachers to focus on teaching and learning.

The Director of School Operations is a school-site, full-time, salaried position with a 12-month work schedule. The Director of School Operations will report to the Regional Director of School Operations.

OPERATIONAL LEADERSHIP
- Serve as a “thought-partner” and a valued member of the school leadership team. They serve as a respected, active, and contributing member, ensuring the overall effective operation of the school and supporting the school’s pursuit of academic excellence for all students.
- Ensure accurate collection and maintenance of student data and school metrics. They analyze data to identify further operational systems development and management needs.
- Implement clear, school-wide systems and routines and ensure that they are followed.

BUILDING LEADERSHIP and MANAGEMENT
- Manage a team of part and full time operational employees and oversees all school operations and administration.
- Ensure that all safety and security protocols are in place and being followed, including all mandated drills, safety inspections, and health regulations.
- Fosters a safe, warm and welcoming environment that is conducive to student learning and parent, staff, and faculty interactions.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
a. Oversee Accounts payable and receivable
b. Oversee the maintenance of school facilities
c. Manage and exceed all operational and administrative compliance mandates and protocols relating to Partnership, Archdiocesan, City, and State regulations & systems.
e. Manage technology and information systems in conjunction with technology support vendor
f. Manage school’s enrichment programs, after-school programs and partner relationships

SCHOOL HUMAN RESOURCES & OPERATIONAL STAFF DEVELOPMENT
- Serve as a school-wide content expert for personnel, benefit, health care and payroll questions addressing issues with expediency.
- Oversee school payroll management
- Clearly articulate a vision of operational excellence and expectations for each role on the Operations Team with a culture of ownership around those expectations.
- Develop staff to build effective relationships with peers and partners who can support their success and development.

ENROLLMENT MANAGEMENT & IMPLEMENTATION
- Leads Operations Team to reach annual enrollment goals
- Manage enrollment systems to accurately track inquiries, student applications, attrition data, and waitlists and analyzes enrollment data to plan for the growth of the student community
- Oversee student recruitment and community outreach to share the mission and value of a Partnership education

CONSISTENT, SYSTEMIC COMMUNICATIONS
- Ensure all parent communications are centralized, coordinated, and clear.
- Works with families respectfully around tuition collection and delinquencies

Skills and Characteristics
- Passionate commitment to the mission of Partnership Schools
- Experience and familiarity with Excel and Google platforms
- Attentive to detail paired with the strategic skills
- Strong organizational skills and follow-through with results
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience in customer service
- Experience managing teams to develop and implement systems and processes to increase effectiveness and efficiency
- Flexible and able to multi-task coupled with the ability to set priorities and follow through with results
- Experience and enthusiasm for working with a small team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Spanish proficiency preferred
- Post-graduate degree preferred; bachelor’s degree required

Compensation, Benefits and Hiring
Pay is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. Salary range: $55,000-$85,000 Benefits offered for full-time employees include health benefits, paid vacation and personal days, paid school holidays, and retirement plan with employer contribution. All employees will be required to pass background checks.
