Queen of Angels Regional Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and visionary leader to serve as its next principal. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and faith-driven educator who demonstrates a commitment to academic excellence, Catholic faith formation, and institutional growth. This individual must possess the leadership skills necessary to inspire faculty, engage students, and foster a strong partnership with parents and the broader school community.

About the School:

Queen of Angels Regional Catholic School is a regional school founded in July 2012 pursuant to a merger of two legacy schools in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia: Our Lady Help of Christians, Abington PA and Saint David in Willow Grove. Queen of Angels opened its doors in September 2012 with the strong legacy of both area Catholic schools to support it. Queen of Angels Regional Catholic School is accredited by the Middle States Association through October 2030, with full accreditation granted in October 2023. The school serves approximately 215 students from Pre-K 3 through Grade 8. The main campus in Willow Grove consists of two buildings: one housing Pre-K 3 through Grade 4 and the other serving Grades 5-8 on the St. David Parish campus. Specialized classrooms include Art, Spanish, Music, a Google Technology Lab, a Microsoft Technology Lab, and a STEM lab. The faculty comprises 13 full-time classroom teachers, as well as part-time instructors for Art, Music, Spanish, Technology/STEM, and Physical Education. Additionally, the school has a full-time Learning Support Coordinator. Queen of Angels instills a strong faith formation and pride in Catholic heritage. The administration, faculty, and staff partner with parents to model their faith through prayer, worship, education, and service. Students participate in specific activities that reflect Catholic values and the spirit of the IHM Charism calling all to “a life of prayer, love and service, courtesy and hospitality. In this school, Jesus is the center, and the Blessed Mother is our model.”

Key Responsibilities:

The principal serves as the academic leader and assists in promoting the spiritual life of the school, ensuring a Christ-centered environment that promotes both educational excellence and faith formation.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Providing visionary leadership in alignment with Catholic values and the school’s mission.
Overseeing curriculum development and instructional excellence.
Fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Supervising the faculty and providing opportunities for faculty development and team-building initiatives.
Utilizing technology effectively for communication and instruction.
Working with the School President to strengthen community engagement and enrollment growth through marketing and development strategies.
Working with the School President and accountant to manage the school’s financial health and operational sustainability.
Working closely with the School President and the Pastors of the supporting parishes

Qualifications & Experience:

The ideal candidate will:

Be a faithful practicing Catholic who is committed to the mission of Catholic education and the teachings of the Catholic Church, the on-going formation in spiritual and catechetical development
Possess an ability to credibly represent a Catholic organization with unquestionable integrity and the ability for working collaboratively with clergy and laity
Possess enthusiasm and passion for the mission of Catholic education
Have the willingness to participate in the life of the school to include all student extra-curricular activities
Hold the necessary degrees and certifications as required by the Office of Catholic Education.
Have proven experience in educational leadership, preferably at the elementary level.
Demonstrate expertise in curriculum implementation, faculty development, and school management.
Exhibit strong communication, relationship-building, and strategic planning skills.
Possess experience in marketing, enrollment growth, and resource development.
Bring a forward-thinking, innovative approach to Catholic education.
Have experience with Middle States Accreditation Process
Have knowledge of the National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence criteria and application
