St. Michael Catholic High School seeks a passionate, mission-focused leader to serve as a full time English Instructor. This role supports the school’s mission of forming students into scholars, leaders, and disciples of Jesus Christ.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in education, specifically with a focus on 10th grade: English, Pre-AP English II and Creative Writing. They will be effective communicators and relationship builders, positively engaging with students, staff and parents, to cultivate a culture of learning and connection.

Key Responsibilities
-Plan & deliver effective lessons that meet state and national standards
-Create a positive learning environment through effective classroom management
-Maintain student records: grades, attendance, behaviour, etc.
-Engage in student life outside the classroom by participating in or helping with a school club, team, House or other sanctioned non-academic group
Required Skills and Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in English Education or other related field, Master’s degree preferred
-Skilled in teaching grammar and writing and genre-based literature.
-3–5 years of teaching experience; Catholic school experience is a plus
-Proven success in student outcomes
-Proficiency in Google Classroom and FACTS educational platform
-Commitment to Catholic education
