St. Michael Catholic High School in Fairhope, AL anticipates an opening for a full-time English/Language Arts teacher for the 2025-2026 academic year. The English curriculum at St. Michael follows the Alabama State Course of Study and the College Board Pre-AP and AP curricula. The ideal candidate for this position has experience teaching across all levels of English with a strong emphasis in preparing learners for further study in high school. Additionally, the ideal candidate will work cooperatively with other department members in planning and implementing a robust and rigorous offering of required and elective English courses.
St. Michael Catholic High School is located in Fairhope, AL in Baldwin County. A bachelor’s degree in English education or closely related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
