An independent school for girls in grades 6-12, guided by the teachings of the Catholic Church, Montrose School was founded in 1979 and is located in the welcoming community of Medfield, 17 miles southwest of Boston. Montrose School attracts a talented and growing student population from over 50 towns and communities. Montrose seeks a dynamic experienced French teacher of native or near-native fluency to teach all levels of Upper School French to join our World Languages department. Our French courses are taught in immersion style and range from beginners to AP. World Language students engage daily in the skills of writing, speaking, listening and reading.

We seek teachers who are passionate about their subjects and dedicated to guide students in strong academic habits and are committed to collaborating, reflecting and growing in their teaching practice. Strong applicants will have an advanced degree, at least three years of classroom experience, and an appreciation for an independent school environment and an all-girls’ education. Our teachers are mentors to individual students and club leaders. Qualified applicants should submit a letter of interest, a resume and three references.
