High School Theology Teacher - St. Michael Catholic High School

St. Michael Catholic High School in Fairhope, AL anticipates an opening in the Theology Department for the 2025 - 2026 academic year. The theology curriculum at St. Michael follows the Doctrinal Elements of a Curriculum Framework established by the United States Council of Catholic Bishops. The ideal candidate for this position is passionate about their faith and working with and teaching high school students to develop a deeper understanding of the faith and their relationship with God. Additionally, the ideal candidate will work cooperatively with other department members in planning and implementing grade level retreats, planning weekly school Mass, and other school ministry activities and duties as assigned.

All applicants must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Catholic church. A Bachelor’s degree in Theology (or closely related field) is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
