Trinity High School in River Forest, Illinois currently has a full time opening for a Theology teacher for the 2024-2025 academic year. Trinity High School is a Catholic single gender high school located in a suburb of Chicago. Trinity is an International Baccalaureate school that was founded by the Sisters of the Sinsinawa Dominican Religious Order over 100 years ago. Under the direction of Dominican Veritas, the organization continues to educate young women, preparing them for the challenges of the twenty-first century.
Theology classes are an essential part of the Trinity High School core curriculum. The courses presented by the Theology department include classes in scripture, church history, world religions, Catholic Christianity and other foundational areas of Theology. Courses are taught at the ninth through twelfth grade level. Additionally, our twelfth grade level courses are offered as dual credit through a Trinity High School partnership with Dominican University.
