Jackson Hole Classical Academy is a private, K–12 classical, liberal arts school in the historic Christian tradition, and is hiring Kindergarten and First Grade Teachers. Our mission is to cultivate within our students the wisdom and virtue necessary for them to discover and fulfill their God-given potential and to contribute to a flourishing and free society.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging instruction using a classical Christian curriculum
• Create a joyful, respectful, orderly, and academically rigorous learning environment
• Develop and implement lesson plans, course maps, and assessments aligned with classical principles
• Mentor students in their intellectual, moral, and aesthetic development
• Partner with parents and school staff in the holistic development of students
• Maintain accurate academic records and provide regular feedback to students and parents
• Uphold and contribute to the school’s mission, culture, and community
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and committee work
• Supervise students during class, transitions, and designated times to ensure safety and well-being
• Model Christian character, professionalism, and a commitment to lifelong learning

Qualifications:
• Demonstrated commitment to the mission of classical Christian education
• Deep love for God, students, and the subjects taught
• Strong knowledge of subject area(s) and integration across disciplines
• High standards of integrity, professionalism, sound judgment, and confidentiality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Growth mindset with a desire to continually improve as an educator

Education and Professional Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Professional teaching certification or credentialing, prior teaching experience in classical education preferred
• Knowledge and/or experience in teaching Spalding curriculum and Singapore Math preferred
• Familiarity with Charlotte Mason’s approach to character formation preferred
