Position Summary:
The Kindergarten teacher is responsible for creating a stimulating and nurturing learning environment that fosters the cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual development of young children. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated educator who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to our school's mission and values.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and social-emotional growth.
Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning community.
Integrate technology effectively into the curriculum.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required.
Pennsylvania teaching certification required.
Proven experience in early childhood education.
Strong understanding of child development and learning theories.
Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
Ability to create a warm and nurturing learning environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Commitment to working in a Christ-centered school environment.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
