Bethlehem Academy strives to empower its students and staff to achieve personal, spiritual, and academic excellence. Bethlehem Academy is a Catholic grades 6-12 school located in Faribault, Minnesota, approximately 25 miles south of the Twin Cities metropolitan area.
The Mathematics Instructor will:
-Teach mathematics curriculum based on state and national standards
-Create engaging lessons and class activities
-Create a positive and encouraging learning environment
-Integrate technology appropriately to support and enhance teaching and student learning
-Differentiate lessons, assignments and class activities for students
-Work collaboratively with other faculty members on common curriculum and instruction
-Seek opportunities for professional and personal growth through professional learning opportunities, staff meetings and school community involvement
-Possible subjects include Geometry, Algebra II/Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education or related field
-Minnesota teaching license (grades 5-12 or 7-12), or ability to obtain license
-Experience preferred but not required
