Immaculate Conception-St. Joseph School located in the Lincoln Park/Old Town neighborhood of Chicago is currently seeking a full-time, dynamic, collaborative, professional and enthusiastic Middle School ELA teacher beginning 12-2-2024 through June 13, 2025.

Under direction of the school principals, instructional staff plan for and provide innovative learning experiences for students in an enriching faith filled environment. Responsibilities include facilitating an atmosphere and environment conducive to the spiritual, intellectual, physical, social and emotional development of students.
Staff members supervise students in a variety of school related settings and monitor and evaluate student outcomes in a data driven setting. Strong written and verbal communication and professional interactions with students, parents, staff and community are essential. Teachers and staff continuously develop, select and modify instructional plans and materials to meet the needs of all students with the support of counselors and learning specialists. Teachers are responsible for providing varied assessment practices and student feedback, employing responsive classroom management strategies and maintaining appropriate records following required procedures and practices.
