St. Michael Catholic High School in Fairhope, AL has an opening for a full-time Health/Female Physical Education teacher for the 2025-2026 academic year. The health curriculum at St. Michael follows the Alabama State Course of Study and fulfils the one-semester graduation requirement. The Physical Education program at St. Michael includes courses in Team Sports and Strength and Conditioning. The ideal candidate for this position has experience teaching health and physical education at the high school level and will work cooperatively with other department members in planning and implementing a varied and robust offering of required and elective courses in physical education.
For a candidate with experience playing/coaching women’s volleyball, this position offers the additional opportunity as Head Coach of the St. Michael JV and Varsity women’s volleyball teams along with coordinating the middle school program. An additional stipend is available for coaching duties.
