Bishop Fenwick Catholic School, located at 1030 E. Main Street in Zanesville, Ohio, is seeking a dedicated, experienced, and faith-filled leader for the position of Principal beginning in the summer of 2025. Bishop Fenwick is a parochial school serving grades Kindergarten through 8 that works in close partnership with Bishop Fenwick Preschool and the neighboring Bishop Rosecrans High School.
The mission of Bishop Fenwick School is to create a nurturing environment where Catholic teachings are integrated with academic excellence. As a Catholic community, our purpose is to form our community to know, love, and serve the Lord as missionary disciples of Christ. Through the experience of their education, students will be challenged to grow in their commitment to God and Church, to family and community, and to each other. The faculty, staff, students and parents work together to inspire learning, leadership, and service.
The school is seeking a Principal who is an active, practicing Catholic and a proven leader, capable of helping us grow in our mission of evangelization and excellence in education. Candidates must possess a Master’s degree and administrator’s license or be eligible to obtain one. A current FBI/BCI background check, attendance at the VIRTUS Protecting God’s Children seminar and a completed online principal application for the Diocese of Columbus must be submitted as part of the application process. Salary is commensurate with the candidate’s education and experience.
