Marymount School seeks a dynamic, compassionate religious studies teacher for a leave replacement position in our Lower Middle School from October 6, 2025 through March 16, 2026. Marymount religious studies teachers impart the values of Catholic Social Teaching in the context of a rich curriculum designed to help students from various faith backgrounds understand scripture, learn about church traditions, and further develop their own faith. The lives of saints and other role models of faith are used to emphasize love, generosity, and service. Religious studies teachers also support Marymount’s sacramental formation programs and liturgies. A master’s degree in theology, divinity, religious studies, or the equivalent is preferred. Relevant teaching experience and/or parish youth ministry experience is required, as is a desire to engage in innovative teaching and learning.
