Position Summary:
Saint Benedict the Moor School seeks a dedicated and passionate educator to fill the role of a 6th-grade self-contained teacher. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a Christ-centered learning environment that emphasizes academic excellence, spiritual growth, and community service.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with state and diocesan standards in all core subject areas (Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies).
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes student learning, collaboration, and critical thinking.
Assess student progress regularly and provide timely, constructive feedback to students and parents.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning community.
Integrate Christ-centered values into daily instruction and activities.
Foster students’ spiritual growth through prayer, reflection, and service opportunities.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration.
Adhere to school policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field required.
Pennsylvania teaching certification
Strong classroom management skills and ability to create a positive learning environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and a deep understanding of Christ-centered values.
Ability to use technology effectively to enhance instruction.
