Key Responsibilities include:
Lead and expand the strength and conditioning program for all sports teams, aligning with data-based best practices for performance enhancement and injury prevention
Increase accessibility of the weight room to all students, fostering a welcoming, encouraging and inclusive environment
Design and implement sport-specific training programs that align with each team’s competitive goals and student-athlete development needs
Collaborate with coaches to integrate strength and conditioning into overall athletic performance plans
Engage with students beyond athletics, creating structured opportunities for non-athletes to benefit from fitness training
Maintain and optimize the use of our state-of-the-art weight training facility, ensuring proper supervision, equipment maintenance, and safety protocols
Provide mentorship and education on nutrition, recovery, and strength training principles to student-athletes
Support school-wide initiatives, including fitness testing, wellness programs, and community engagement efforts
